WALL STREET melemah saat jeda siang

    JAKARTA:Faktor  domestik terkait data pengangguran ternyata masih memicu sentimen negatif di bursa Amerika Serikat, yang melemah saat jeda siang, Jumat 1 Juni 2012,  pukul 12:00 waktu New York atau 23:00 WIB.

     

    Mohamed El-Erian, Chief Executive Officer  Pacific Investment Management Co, kombinasi situasi Eropa dan laporan tenaga kerja AS—yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya angka pengangguran—membuat para investor gelisah.

     

    "Krisis pengangguran akan berpengaruh negatif terhadap struktur perekonomian nasional AS. Hal itu diperburuk dengan melambatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi global," ujarnya seperti dikutip Bloomberg.

     

    Seluruh indeks bursa di Negeri Paman Sam itu melemah, kecuali indeks Philadelphia Stock Exchange Gold and Silver yang menguat 5,92% ke posisi 162,90 pada pukul 23:35 WIB.

     

    Adapun penurunan paling tajam dialami indeks KBW Bank sebesar 4,22% ke posisi 42,22 pada pukul 23:34 WIB. (sut)
