This product creates an easily-configurable twitter widget for your forum sidebar, home page, or any other page in the vBulletin CMS. There is no code to edit; just simple settings: AdminCP > Settings > Options > LancerForHire - Twitter Widget.

1 Layout Drag and Drop (CMS Widget only)

1-2 Setting Changes (Forum Side Block only)

 

Let's install! (be sure to click install and nominate for MOTM! )

 

Import the product xml.

 

 

For CMS Widget

 

Under AdminCP > vBulletin CMS > Layout Manager, 'edit' the page you want the widget in and drag the LancerForHire - Twitter Widget item into the layout.

 

 

For Forum Side Block

 

Navigate to AdminCP > Settings > Options > LancerForHire - Twitter Widget and set Widget Dimensions: Auto Width to Yes.

Navigate to AdminCP > Settings > Options > Forum Sidebar and Block Options and set Enable Forum Sidebar to Yes (if not set to that already).

 

 

The product installation is complete.

Notes

 

To developers: You can actually show the widget anywhere on the board, not just in a specific part of the CMS. Yes, I said anywhere. You can retrieve the fully rendered twitter widget by calling the lancerforhire_twit_widget() function with no arguments.
